Space Astronomy
Do you think people take space/astronomy for granted?
If that makes sense? I don't really know how to word the question. What I mean is, whenever I see the moon, I can't help but go "Look, it's the moon!" like an excitable 5 year old and my friends think I'm weird. I just find it fascinating that it's a whole other world about a quarter the size of our own and it's circling the Earth, and that (according to the widely accepted theory) it was created using material from our own planet. Also whenever I see the stars I say something like "Aren't they beautiful? To think they're just like our Sun (if not different sizes)" and my friends are like "Yeah they've always been there, mate"
Basically, am I just weird or are there others who think like me?
Most people walk around with their eyes and minds closed tightly shut and a lucky few look at the world in perpetual amazement.
Be prepared to spend most of your life among people who bore you.
